Each month, I send out a newsletter titled Life Is Worth Living. The focus of this newsletter is to help people who are struggling with depression, suicidal thoughts, or discouragement. Every issue, therefore, is filled with inspirational and uplifting content that is designed to help people move forward.
For over twenty years, I have struggled with the darkness of chronic depression. In my early twenties, this battle became so intense that I tried to end my life. With the help of family, friends, and access to incredible resources, I recovered and learned this important lesson: Life is worth living. That is the name of this newsletter and that is the motto I have chosen to live by.
Our world is filled with terrible things, it is true. But I avow my own faith that if we move forward—that if we strive to make this “muddled world a better place”—we will conquer those terrible things. One day, we will stand upon our own figurative mountains and realize that our journeys are worth all of the “blood, sweat, toil, and tears.”
